Hi,

I am running BOINC on several Mac Pro 2013 (Intel) with AMD GPUs and on
a Mac Pro 2019 (Intel) with 2 AMD Radon Pro Vega II GPUs. All are
having errors on Einstein.

I am getting extensive "Error while computing" errors on the Einstein
project, almost all tasks on the Mac Pro 2019. It has 16 cores, 512 GM
RAM, and the 2 AMD GPUs. It is running macOS 26.3 Tahoe and BOINC 8.2.8.

A forum on the Einstein projects states:
"The errors I'm seeing on that host are the app crashes with permission
errors about a missing library and debug symbols."

Is this a BOINC problem or an Einstein problem? I reinstalled BOINC a
still get errors.

The combination of Mac and GPUs is hard to come by, but I don't seem to
be getting errors on the Rosetta project.

Thanks, Dave

Dave,

This Alpha forum is probably not the best place to Post a Project Specific question.  The same posting on the Einstein Forums would get you a deeper knowledge base for MAC on that project.

Dave,
To add to Bill's note, I do recall quite a bit of discussion at the Einstein forums under "Number Crunching" on this issue.
