Issues w/Boinc 8xxx

Hello Guys,

Since Boinc version 8xx im having problems with some projects that use GPU.

Attaching image of the error for instance in Asteroids project.

Whats does this mean? The project wont download GPU tasks and gives that message.

All is well configured and i simply cannot do work for this project with GPU

Anyone has related issues?

Hello Miguel,

This is a known issue with BAM (and they should fix it on their side). Either downgrade your BOINC to the previous version or just disconnect that particular project from BAM, reaunc with it in BOINC Manager, and then add that project directly via BOINC Manager.

Are you using an account manager (I'm guessing BAM!)?

Does your BAM! configuration not allow using NVIDIA on Asteroids@home?

Yes, i'm using BAM.

Yes in configuration im allowing only NVIDIA.

Do you guys know if BAM team is aware of this issue?

They should be. This issue was reported to them a couple of months ago.
