BOINC 8.2.5 : Issues with macOS on Apple Silicon Mac

Hi Team,

I have installer BOINC 8.2.5 on a MacBook Pro M3 (Apple Silicon) running mac0S 15.5

Prior to install BOINC, I have installed Podman for macos-arm64_v5.5.2

In log file, BM indicate that Docker is detected (see below):

But, LHC@Home notifies me that VirtualBox is not installed (see below):

Another issue is that some projects doesn’t detect the GPU (see below):

If the client detects VirtualBox, it says so in the startup messages.

On Unix systems (including MacOS) the client looks for
    "/usr/bin/VBoxManage"
    "/usr/local/bin/VBoxManage"
Is either of these present on your system?

Projects running old BOINC web code won't show Apple GPUs.
BOINC Central runs the current web code.
It looks like there's a problem with reporting the apple gpu twice.
