Unable to add project: BOINC 7.16.9 / Mac OS 11.0 Beta

Testing 7.16.9 this morning.

I noticed I had 2 (two) Einstein accounts. - with 2 (two) different URLS .

I merged accounts on Einstein project page.

Restarted BOINC 7.16.9 & watched/read the log:

Deleted both Einstein accounts.

Issue: Trying to add a new (Einstein)  project back in : 

  BOINC Manager -> Tools -> Add Project ->   with no choice of projects . Only screen reads:

 Welcome to .

  You have volunteered to compute for this project:

 Name:

   ( lots of white space)

 URL:

 Warning…    

 To continue click Next - 

 - next asks if i’m a new or existing user - however never asks for project name...

Was able to add project via GridRepublic, but removed, since it points to an old URL for Einstein.

This is not a support point for BOINC.

Use the main BOINC Forum at the website.

Also, you can manually enter the URL which your can get from Einstein. Or try using BAM! project manager at the BOINCstats site.

But according to the attached screenshot, it looks like an error on BOINC side and it has nothing in common with project issues.

He was posting to the BOINC Alpha list, which is a perfectly fine place to post to, if you have problems with an alpha version of BOINC, which he does. Is also what Charlie asked when he released the software for testing: " Please report test results to https://boinc.berkeley.edu/alpha/test_form.php or this email list."

@Dan, sounds to me like your BOINC Manager didn't make contact with the client, or the client wasn't running at that moment. In either case the add project wizard will be empty.

Have you since managed it with just BOINC and no account manager?

Further testing - ( Stopped my VPN - just in case ).

Re-installed 7.16.6  and had no problem seeing all available projects.

Re-installed 7.16.9, Stopped all projects & fetching…   and still see an empty window.

 Logging with the rpc_gui flag ( Thanks Jord)  

     I think I found the error….   incomplete URL for Ibercivis BOINC   ( I have no idea where to fix )
