Google Meet Link not Working?

Clicking Google Meet Link Returns Error:  "The meeting code in the URL you entered doesn't work"                            

The Good News!  Google has finally prevented students from joining classrooms after the teacher has left.

The Rub:  You can no longer reuse your link indefinitely.  Once you leave your Meet, it will no longer be accessible.

The Workaround:

Each time you create a Google Meet, give it the same NICKNAME.  Enter it in the "Join or Start a Meeting" field.  

Share the NICKNAME with your students.

Students open a browser and go to Meet.google.com and enter the NICKNAME in the "Join or Start a Meeting" to access the Video call.
