BrainPop - Two Important Notes
  • BrainPop has a problem with authentication that they are aware of and working on.  As a result, it is not possible for students or teachers to "Sign in with GSuite" from the BrainPop home screen.  For the time being, locate the content you wish to use and log in from the content area screen.  Students cannot log in at all but do not appear to be restricted from viewing any content.  I will let you know when this has been resolved.
  • Students should always use brainpop.com in a browser and not the BrainPop App.  The app will be removed soon as it does not allow authentication with GSuite and so does not allow full functionality within.

Screen Mirroring!
Want to use your laptop like one of the wall mounted TVs?

With screen mirroring, you can:
  • Show student(s) your iPad screen while in a Meet
  • Make a tutorial starring your iPad using Loom, Quicktime, or Screencastify
There are at least two ways to do this and I'm happy to quickly show you how.  Shoot me an email or book me if you want to play around with this useful feature.

Forgotten iPads
Please note that there are no extra iPads for students  to use when iPads are forgotten at home.   Please make sure to have an alternate activity handy should someone not have an iPad.

Student App Cleanup
There are many Apps in Self Service which are not used.  I am certain of some which are obsolete and others which are commonly used.  This form lists the rest.  Please fill this out, if you have not already, by October 16th if you use any of these Apps so that those which are unused can be removed from Self Service.
