Whiteboard Sharing Made SO Easy!
I do not ordinarily recommend any new tools as we all have enough on our plates already.  However, Whiteboard.fi deserves a look if you and your students want to view each other's virtual whiteboards.  It took me LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES to learn how to use it.

Here's why you might want to consider using it:
  • No log in required, students just click your link and enter their 1st name
  • Works with iPads (I tested)
  • Teacher can see all student boards and clear them all if needed
  • Teacher can wipe a board if not appropriate
  • Link stops working when teacher closes "room" (no unsupervised collaborating)
  • Students can toggle between their own board and teacher's OR teacher can force their own board to student view
Here is a three minute and eight second video from Richard Byrne demonstrating how to use it.

And speaking of YouTube tutorials...

Another YouTube Pro Tip - Adjust Playback Speed
Stop wasting time watching entire videos when all you need is the meat.  Use the playback speed option to listen/watch faster.  I have taken time to watch so many more educational videos since I found this handy option.  No more listening to all the blah, blah, blah.  I just slow it down when it gets to the part I need.

Click the Gear in the bottom right corner of your video.  Select Playback Speed and choose a speed.
