Encourage Your Students to be a Part of History
This is a time in history that will be very interesting to look back on, particularly for future generations.  Consider documenting your story, or having students do the same.
  • Maine Historical Society - During this unprecedented time, please consider sharing YOUR stories about how you, your family, and community are experiencing the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Be a part of history and help preserve YOUR experience for future generations. Click HERE for more information.
  • StoryCoprs - StoryCorps Connect is an online platform for distance interviewing. Storycorps also has a recording app (in Self Service!) with planning and prompts built in.  Check out StoryCorps Connect page and scroll down for teacher resources.  They have created your interviewing curriculum FOR you!  Interviews recorded for StoryCorps are saved in the National Archive.
