How to Join a Google Meet
The first thing that needs to be determined is whether the host sent a LINK or a NICKNAME.
- A link looks like this: meet.google.com/abc-wxyz-pdq or like this: bit.ly/glatz-video
- A shortcut will just be a word or phrase: glatz-meet or science-class
To join a meet with a link: Copy the link and paste it into your Safari or Chrome browser's address field.
To join a meet with a shortcut:
- Copy the shortcut
- Go to Safari or Chrome and visit meet.google.com
- Paste the shortcut in the box that says "Join or State a Meeting"
