Skitch is the tool you can't live without!

particularly right now when it is difficult to simply point to what you want someone to notice.  

Skitch is a very simple utility for capturing your screen and adding text, arrows, or shapes (circle things).  

Here is a super-short screen capture of what it does.  

It's available in the Mac App store for free.
