p.s. We've also released v1.2.4, v1.1.5, and v1.0.4 which allows deployments to
turn off SPIFFE cert validation (and thus do standard X.509 validation) with Envoy. Our
unilateral switch to the SPIFFE cert validator extension broke some deployments and thus our upgrade compatibility guarantees.
