Good evening,

I'm sorry but I don't understand the meaning of requests limit per day in Dandelion docs.

It would be better if I explained my problem. I've a set of documents (say 2000) and I wish be able to extract NE.

How have I to count units per day, speaking of NE? I understood that I can reach the limit of 1000 NE per day, is it correct? (so in this case the mean lenght of a single docs matters). Sorry I’m not a computer scientist, so is a single NE extraction an api request? The entire work is for research purpose and I’m planning to use dandelion NER api for free in oder to test it on my data.

I got all the previous infos from here https://dandelion.eu/profile/plans-and-pricing/ but I didn't get the explanation

Thank you in advance for all your assistance,

Bests,

Massimo

Hi Massimo,
in case of entity extraction a unit corresponds to a call for a regular document. So, for 2000 documents, not longer than 4000 characters, you will need 2000 units, that is two days of calls for a Basic plan user.
