Is there any paper published about this API? I want to use it in academic research but I didn't find information about the methodology used in this API to get the similarity of text

our Entity Extraction method is based on this publication http://pages.di.unipi.it/ferragina/cikm2010.pdf ,

but several improvements have been developed in time.
