date for Language Fair

I am glad to hear that.
But, I did not know the language fair was going to be a "for sure"
event. What categories can my students compete on? I hope I can still
prepare them.

If we're concerned about memorization time, what about scoring them mainly on pronunciation?

Okay, well we can make a rubric for drama that includes grading in
acting, the language in general. But, grading based on pronounciation
100% is harsh.
I think we can make it possible.
What grades can participate in the LF?
Last year, I think it was just 9-12.

If you have students who would like to compete in a language that isn't Spanish or Turkish, please let me know so I can try and find judges.

It's going to be at the Turkish Cultural center on Campbell and Glenn here in Tucson. Let me find you the exact address.

2841 N CAMPBELL AVENUE
From I-10, you can take the Miracle Mile exit
go up Miracle Mile to Oracle where you have to turn
Turn left onto Oracle
Turn right onto Fort Lowell (its the 1st right)
Turn right onto Campbell (its the 4th light)
Start looking for the store (Cricket I think) after the bank (B of A not Wells Fargo I think)
Go up the alleyway behind the store and the cultural center is there
I'll check the landmarks on my way home today, since it's right by my house.

That would be great if you could get someone to make a nice one. I'm working on a sign up sheet for judges here at Broadway, and a request for judges for Emrah to send out to our parents. I also still need to price ribbons for the winners.
