Hello,

I'm trying to make figures with colored tracks and need the vertical viewing range setting to start with a minimum of 50. However, when I set the minimum vertical viewing range to 50, a pink line appears along the bottom of the track. Does anyone know how to get rid of this pink line? Or to make it a different color, like white?

I'm using Safari v5.1.9 on a Mac OS X v10.6.8.

I'm working with the Dm3 (Drosophila melanogaster 2006) genome.

Thanks in advance,
Abbie

Hello, Abbie.

The pink line at the bottom of your display is the result of data points
that exist below the current vertical viewing range. Notice in the left
margin of the screenshot you have provided, the vertical viewing range is
currently set to 50-100. You will also notice that there are pink lines at
the top of the tallest peaks in your screenshot. This is because there are
likewise data points that extend past 100. If you increase your vertical
viewing range (e.g., 0-150), it will eliminate the pink lines.

To do so, from the Browser, either right click any data point in the display
and select the "Configure" option or left click the vertical gray bar to the
left of the display to enter the configuration page where you can adjust the
vertical viewing range.

Please contact us again at gen...@soe.ucsc.edu if you have any further
questions.
