Hi,

the CRISPR track hubs by the Giraldez group are not available anymore for zebrafish and I cannot find them via the track search. What should I do?

Thanks in advance and kind regards
Melina Köhler

Hello, Melina.

Thank you for your interest in the UCSC Genome Browser and for sending your inquiry.

Unfortunately, we do not maintain the CRISPR track hubs by the Giraldez group. The CRISPR track hubs are hosted remotely, meaning that the data is not on our own servers. We would recommend reaching out to the Giraldez Lab (https://www.giraldezlab.org/people/) and asking them to make their hub accessible again.

I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu. All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible Google Groups forum. If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.

Hi Melina,
on our pre-release testing website, we have a CRISPR track with the CrisprScan scores, under "Genes and Gene Predictions":
We should copy this track to the public website, I guess.

Our track predates the CrisprScan paper, so the CrisprScan score is still called "Moreno-Mateos score", by the first author of the paper. Guides are colored depending on the off-target count and the predicted efficiency, here is an example guide:
