Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to inquire about the reason why I cannot connect to the Jaspar TFBS. I have tried various methods, but the problem remains unresolved.

I have made efforts such as checking my network settings, using different browsers, and clearing cache and cookies, yet none of these attempts have been successful. This situation has hindered my research progress, and I would be extremely grateful if you could provide some guidance or assistance to help me address this connection problem.

Thank you for contacting the UCSC Genome Browser support team and reporting this issue.

The JASPAR TFBS track hub (http://expdata.cmmt.ubc.ca/JASPAR/UCSC_tracks/hub.txt) is hosted externally, meaning the data is not stored on our servers. It appears that the hosting site is currently down. We have contacted the hub providers about this issue, and you are also welcome to reach out to Oriol Fornes directly at or...@cmmt.ubc.ca.

As an alternative, we also offer JASPAR TFBS datasets as native tracks for the following assemblies:

hg38: JASPAR TFBS Track
hg19: JASPAR TFBS Track
mm39: JASPAR TFBS Track
mm10: JASPAR TFBS Track

Thank you for your interest in the JASPAR hub. It looks like the external group that maintains the hub were able to bring it back online. You should now be able to use it.
