Hello,

I hope you are well. I am a PhD student, and I am attempting to upload my tracks on the UCSC browser. I have these RNASeq files saved as .bam files and am hence unable to upload them on the browser. I have 20 files to upload, so please do guide me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you so much,

Sanjana

Hello, Sanjana.

Thank you for your interest in the Genome Browser.

You can take a look at our page on BAM files for information on how to display them in the Browser (https://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bam.html).

The most important part will be finding a place to remotely host your file. We see you have a university email, often universities and/or labs will provide this space for free. See our hosting page for additional options (http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTrackHubHelp#Hosting).

I hope this is helpful. Please include gen...@soe.ucsc.edu in any replies to ensure visibility by the team. All messages sent to that address are archived on our public forum. If your question includes sensitive information, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
