How do I disable the browser's default behavior of storing the blat history? I perform lots of blats and those history displays make my efficiency a lot lower.

Hello, Xiaotu.

We made the change recently that all BLAT results are automatically saved as custom tracks. We don't have a way to return to the existing behavior, but you are not the first person to note this, so we are discussing potential solutions. We will let you know if we move forward with that feature.

An easy way to remove the excess BLAT results is to click on the small trashcan icon:

Once you click it, the next BLAT track will fall in the same location, so subsequent clicks will remove more tracks.
