Unable to reach the Genome Browser

Dear UCSC Genome Browser Team,

I am writing on behalf of the Department of Medical Genetics at  Ankara Bİlkent City Hospital, a clinical genetics laboratory that routinely uses the UCSC Genome Browser to interpret chromosomal microarray and sequencing data.

Our institutional IP address appears to have been blocked, and we are currently unable to reach the Genome Browser from our hospital network. This has interrupted our workflow.

Could you please look into this and, if possible, restore access for our IP address:  31.223.33.140

Hi, Büşranur.

We have been experiencing automated bot attacks on our servers. Our administrators are working on blocking this activity while affecting as few of our users as possible.

We just removed more of the restrictions at 7 a.m. PST. Let us know if you are still having problems.

It is worth noting that our mirrors Euro (http://genome-euro.ucsc.edu/) and Asia (https://genome-asia.ucsc.edu/) are usually still accessible when our primary site has issues.

We apologize for the inconvenience as we resolve this issue.
