Dear sir, madam,

While updating some reference files with the new assembly using the UCSC table browser, we noticed one of the tracks we need is no longer present. Below is the workflow we used in GRCh37 to get the file we need:
  1. clade: Mammal
  2. genome: Human
  3. assembly: Feb. 2009 (GRCh37/hg19)
  4. group: Genes and Gene Predictions Tracks
  5. track: tRNA genes
  6. table: tRNAs
  7. Region: Genome
  8. output: GTF - gene transfer format
However, when I follow these steps using GRCh38, the track 'tRNA genes' is not present. What is the correct workflow to get the file?

Regards,

Hello Sander,

Thanks for your question. The tRNA Genes track has not yet been released to our public site. We do have it available on our preview server: http://genome-preview.ucsc.edu/. Please note: Genome-preview allows users to preview tracks/data before they have been through our quality assurance process. Because genome-preview contains pre-release data, please use discretion when downloading and viewing data from genome-preview as it may still be undergoing changes and improvements.

If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu. All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible forum. If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
