Hello,
is it possible to get the chain file or get advice on how to liftover my dm6 bed file to the musDom2 genome?
I already used multiz alignment but am looking for an orthogonal way to grab orthologous sequences as well using liftover.
Best,
Jillian

Hello, Jillian.

Thank you for your interest in the Genome Browser.

We have made the requested liftOver chain files available on our download server:

dm6 -> musDom2: https://hgdownload.soe.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/dm6/liftOver/dm6ToMusDom2.over.chain.gz
musDom2 -> dm6: https://hgdownload.soe.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/musDom2/liftOver/musDom2ToDm6.over.chain.gz

I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu. All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible Google Groups forum. If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
