Hello,

I got this error message for blat with even a single sequence.  It is specific for T2T genome build.  Hg38 and hg19 work fine.  I tried the euro mirror site and got same error message.

Warning/Error(s):

  • Error in TCP non-blocking connect() 113 - No route to host. Host dynablat-01.soe.ucsc.edu IP 128.114.119.165 port 4040.
  • Operation now in progress
    Sorry, the BLAT/iPCR server seems to be down. Please try again later: dynablat-01.soe.ucsc.edu 4040

Hello Xiaolin,

Thank you for using the UCSC Genome Browser and for reporting that issue with the T2T BLAT server.

This error appears to have been caused by a broken fan in our server room shutting down that particular BLAT server. This has been fixed and everything should be working as expected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Thank you again for reporting that error! If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu. All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible forum. If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.

Kindly,
Daniel Schmelter
