Dear Madam/ Sir
I am inquiring about the weather you have the sequence of the genome for the Date Palm tree ( Phoenix dactylifera L) and / or the Olive Tree genome ( Olea europaea )
Regards
Hashem

Hello, Hashem.

Thank you for your interest in the Genome Browser.

Please take a look at our assembly request system (https://genome.ucsc.edu/assemblyRequest.html).

If you expand the clades to include plants:

image.png

You'll see several date palm assemblies. Two of which are already available:

https://genome.ucsc.edu/h/GCF_009389715.1
https://genome.ucsc.edu/h/GCF_000413155.1

Note that we only build Genome Browsers based on NCBI GenBank deposited sequences with a GCA/GCF identifier, e.g. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/assembly/GCA_009389715.1.

For the olive tree, it looks like we have one already built:

https://genome.ucsc.edu/h/GCF_002742605.1

If these are not the ones you are searching for, and you see them on our request page, please request them and they will be ready in a few days. If they are not on the page and they already have a GCA/GCF identifier, let us know what those identifiers are and we will build the Browsers.

You can find the complete data downloads for any of these genomes, including sequence and annotations, on their corresponding downloads page based on their identifier. e.g.

https://hgdownload.soe.ucsc.edu/hubs/GCF/002/742/605/GCF_002742605.1/

I hope this is helpful. Please include gen...@soe.ucsc.edu in any replies to ensure visibility by the team. All messages sent to that address are archived on our public forum. If your question includes sensitive information, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
