Hi there,

when I try to upload my track hub using Composite Tracks, I get the following errors:
  • No draw handler for hub_139463_LY1_ChIP-seq
  • No draw handler for hub_139463_LY1_RNA-seq
Here is a link to the track hub:

And this is what the trackDB file looks like:
track LY1_ChIP-seq
compositeTrack on
shortLabel LY1_ChIP-seq
longLabel LY1_ChIP-seq
allButtonPair on
visibility full
darkerLabels on
autoScale on
alwaysZero on

	track LY1_H3K4me2
	parent LY1_ChIP-seq on
	bigDataUrl LY110Dec20_H3K4me2_picard.bw
	shortLabel LY1_H3K4me2
	longLabel LY1_H3K4me2
	type bigWig
	color 31,120,180

	track LY1_H3K27ac
	parent LY1_ChIP-seq on
	bigDataUrl LY110Dec20_H3K4me2_picard.bw
	shortLabel LY1_H3K27ac
	longLabel LY1_H3K27ac
	type bigWig
	color 227,26,28
….

The track hub without the Composite Tracks works fine:

Thanks for your help!
Johannes

Hi Johannes,

Thank you for your question about uploading a hub with Composite
tracks. Parent composite stanzas (in this case the stanza beginning
with "track LY1_ChIP-seq") must have a "type" field, in addition to
each of the subtracks having a "type" field. If you add "type bigWig"
to your composite parent stanza your hub will display just fine.

I hope this helps!

Thank you again for your inquiry and using the UCSC Genome Browser. If
