To whom it may concern,

I want to test the UCSC genome browser to aid with CNV classification by loading in patient BAM files. Since I would be using patient samples as test files, am I correct in understanding I would need to build a local mirror? Would building the GBIC image and running it in a container allow me to host an empty mirror that I can then install the hg38 reference genome and other annotation files too? That way it wouldn't get too large? I have the resource and commute power to manage the mirror however. Is there any information you can provide that would help me with this?

Thanks,
Kyra Jeshram
