opening a BigWig file

I downloaded a ChIP=Seq data set (H3k4me1_ChIP_Seq.zip) published as supplemental material to a recent Science article.

An example of a file name  in this folder when unzipped is: GMP.ucsc.bigWig

 

Can you give me instructions on how to open a view this data using a genome browser?

Thanks for your question. You can upload and view this data as a custom track. Navigate to our Custom Tracks tool: http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgCustom, upload your file, and click submit.
