This morning a minor but important display setting has changed – wondering if there is a setting to change what is displayed?

In the Ensembl gene predictions - Previously, when hovering over a sequence you would see the corresponding exon # or intron # for the sequence – see below with the hand pointer and Intron 9/16

Now the Ensembl transcript ID is displayed. Is it possible to change this setting to go back to the Exon # or Intron # designation, or both?

Hello,

Thank you for using the UCSC Genome Browser and reporting your issues.

There was a recent change to the display of transcript mouse-overs in the browser, and this bug
came from that change. I am happy to let you know that this bug has now been fixed, and on a
mouse-over, you should now see the following information:
  • Transcript ID
  • Strand orientation
  • Intron/exon number

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
