We are pleased to announce two new blog posts illustrating sharing data and creating binary custom tracks.

Many users are also not aware of advanced ways to share their data. A recent blog post, https://bit.ly/UCSC_blog_sharing, provides examples of using URL parameters to attach custom tracks, or even to attach track hubs on top of assembly hubs, all with a single link.

Also, many veteran users of text-based custom tracks have difficulty turning their data into binary versions. Another recent blog post, https://bit.ly/UCSC_blog_bigBed, helps guide labs through these steps around a specific example of turning a text-based BED track into a bigBed binary-indexed version.
