Hello Everyone,
We are pleased to announce the release of a new Public Hub, the EVA score for synthetic gRNA efficiency, for hg38, hg19, and mm39.
This hub displays the EVA score, a predictor of the on-target editing activity of SpCas9 when delivered with chemically synthesized crRNA + tracrRNA. The score is named after the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (MPI-EVA). Higher EVA scores indicate guides predicted to produce more efficient cleavage of the target DNA in cells. Unlike scores trained on plasmid- or vector-expressed sgRNAs, the EVA score is trained on outcomes from chemically synthesized gRNAs and accounts for cleavage outcomes beyond short indels.
We would like to thank Tomislav Maricic at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (MPI-EVA) for creating this hub.
