Data Science Santa Cruz will be hosting a Data Science Afternoon in the Redwoods at UC Santa Cruz on Thursday May 21.    The purpose of the event is to learn more about data science, discuss new models of collaboration, and build the Santa Cruz/UCSC/Silicon Valley data science community.   Academics, industry and local community are all invited.   The event is free, but space is limited.
