Hello,

The PhastCons and PhyloP tracks for 20 mammals does not appear to be working. In this link: http://tinyurl.com/ydfyx9be, despite having the ‘Basewise Conservation (PhyloP)’ and ‘Element Conservation (phastCons)’ tracks set to ‘full’ view, I do not see them in the browser. Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

Thanks!

Vamsi.

Hi Vamsi,

Thank you for your question about the 20way PhyloP and PhastCons
tracks. The PhyloP and PhastCons tracks are not selected by default on
the track controls page, if you check the boxes underneath the species
tree for the PhyloP and PhastCons subtracks, the tracks will be
visible in the browser.

To get to the track controls for any track, you can click on the track
short label from the list of tracks at the bottom of the Genome
Browser, or you can click the grey bar to the left of the track within
the track image, or you can right-click on the track in the track
image and select "Configure trackName".

Thank you again for your inquiry and using the UCSC Genome Browser. If
you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu.
