Hi,
I have few RefSeq identifier and would like to get the genomic loci associated with these refseq but I am not able to find their genomic loci using Table Browser in "RefSeq Genes" and also in "Other RefSeq".

Could you please suggest me how can I retrieve the genomic loci of the following IDs.

NM_015549.1
NM_018069.2
NM_022663.1
NM_032371.2
NM_033548.1
NM_153292.1
NM_172178.2
NM_173691.3
NM_173817.1
NM_182831.1
NM_198261.2
NM_198262.2
NM_198500.1
NM_203311.1
NM_207324.1
NM_207482.2
NR_026959.1
NR_034117.1
NR_037182.1

I have 100 of identifier Which I couldn't mapped in hg19 and also in hg38.
My First preference will go for the genomic coordinates from hg19 and then to hg38.

Looking forward for a solution.

Thanking you already in advance.

Hello Sweta,

Thank you for using the UCSC Genome Browser and your inquiry.

These identifiers were removed from RefSeq as they have become obsolete due to insufficient evidence and is the reason that you are unable to find these identifiers. For example, searching for the NM_033548.1 identifier at NCBI, you can get more information about the identifier.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/NM_033548.1

From the NCBI search result, the following information is displayed:

NM_033548.1 was permanently suppressed because currently there is insufficient support for the transcript and the protein.

I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu.
