Hia,

all hubs show nowadays on the new landing page, but a side effect is that it tends to throw the website a bit off when multiple hubs are connected:

as example:
and attach in addition

then try to switch from the "WormBase" one to the "brugias" hub and the website throws the error from the attached picture.
Accessing the respective browser through the links from the hub overview works fine.

Dear Michael,

Thank you for using the UCSC Genome Browser and reporting the issue you were seeing with your assembly hubs.

We have a fix for this item scheduled for release next Tuesday. The error arrises from the new gateway looking for an html path in the genomes.txt file of the Brugias hub to display. The WormBase hub has lines such as htmlPath s_ratti/description.html on the related genomes.txt file. Once the fix is out, the previous behavior shoud return for the Brugias hub, or you could also edit the genomes.txt file of that hub to point to some html file now and the issue would be resolved with the current software.

Thank you again for your using and helping improve the UCSC Genome Browser by reporting this item. If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu. All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible forum. If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.

All the best,

Brian Lee

HI Brian,

thanks for the quick reply.
I added a quick and dirty html to the genomes.txt and it seems to work now.
