Hello,

Do you happen to provide programmatic access to the DB behind http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu/? I understand that I can dump it from the table browser.

In particular, I'm interested in accessing the Gencode VM15 track, which is the most recent release and a version a head of what's available at genome.ucsc.edu.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your question about table dumps for tracks available on our test site.

We do not typically offer table dumps for tracks available only on our test site, http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu/, nor do we provide programmatic to the underlying databases. We only provide these files and programmatic access for data on our public site, http://genome.ucsc.edu.

However, I have gone ahead and dumped the contents of the tables that support the GENCODE VM15 tracks to my personal directory on our test site: http://genome-test.soe.ucsc.edu/~mspeir/GENCODE_VM15_dump/. Please note that this data has yet to undergo our regular quality assurance checks and may change before release to our public site. You can also access the data that was imported to make these GENCODE tracks on their website here: https://www.gencodegenes.org/mouse_releases/15.html.
