Hello,I am writing to ask if the team running the UCSG genome browser would please consider posting the MacaM genome sequence from the attached papers. Most importantly (because this genome sequence and annotation files are already publicly available) would be to generate liftover files that would allow folks to compare this genome assembly to other assemblies. Minimally and in particular, it would be highly useful (to me at least) if there were an alignment between this assembly and the rhemac2 assembly (which is from the same individual).Could someone please let me know if this is possible?Thank you in advance,Ben Evans
Dear Ben,
Thank you for using the UCSC Genome Browser and your request for the MacaM rhesus genome browser.
Unfortunately, we do not have plans to add this release to the UCSC genome browser at this time. However, you may be interested in building an assembly hub for your genome of interest. You can read more about assembly hubs at the following help pages:You can also search through our mailing list archives to read previously answered questions about assembly hubs. For example, this previously answered question may be helpful if you decide to create an assembly hub:

You can also create your own liftOver files. You can learn more about this process from the following help pages:
You can also search the mailing list archives for this topic.
I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions, please reply to gen...@soe.ucsc.edu.
All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible Google Groups forum.
If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
