Hi,

We are currently working on a research project involving Anaplasma marginale strain. However, we have noticed that this specific strain (St. Maries 2021) is not available in the UCSC In-Silico PCR genome browser.

As this strain is a crucial component of our study, we would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide regarding access to its genome through UCSC.

Thank you

Best regards,

Hello, Sadia.

Thank you for your interest in the UCSC Genome Browser and for sending your inquiry.

Could you provide the GCA/GCF identifier for the Anaplasma marginale strain (St. Maries 2021) assembly? We build Genome Browsers based on NCBI GenBank deposited sequences with a GCA or GCF identifier.

We do have two Anaplasma marginale strain St. Maries browsers available:

Both of these assemblies support UCSC In-Silico PCR functionality. You can access the In-Silico PCR page by visiting one of the links above, which will take you to the Browser graphic display. From there, hover over the blue menu bar for “Tools” and select “In-Silico PCR.”

Please include gen...@soe.ucsc.edu in any replies to ensure visibility by the team. All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly-accessible Google Groups forum. If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
