Dear UCSC browser team,

First, thank you for existing and being so helpful to all of us.

I have two silly questions.
Here is a test folder for uploading a test Arabidopsis assembly to our local UCSC browser.

Question 1:

When I am doing
```
hubCheck  hub.txt
```
I am taking this errors. I break my head but I do not understand why. However when I upload it via our FTP server seems to work fine

Found 4 problems:

Couldn't open arath/arath/arath.bb

Host arath not found --> Name or service not known

Host plants.html not found --> Name or service not known

Question 2:

When I am uploading the assembly in the browser, I can not no matter what I try to see
the chirs.jpeg image, with ArabidopsisHub.html file,  on the front page.
I tried many times to change image dimensions, but if I do so the assembly fails to be uploaded.

Thank you for your time and help, and I really appreciate

with best wishes,
Loukas

Good Afternoon L T:

Please note, the URL reference you have in your html file:

<A HREF="https://gitlab.gwdg.de/ltheodosiou/mpipz_biokit" TARGET=_blank>
<IMG SRC="chris.jpeg" WIDTH=289 HEIGHT=400 ALT="Cardamine hirsuta"></A>

Is a relative reference to the URL that page is being viewed at, which
is at UCSC. Our site would not have that file.

To reference your image chris.jpeg, place a full URL to that file
at your location. This will correctly reference the file from our
location.

Hello,

Thank you for using the UCSC Genome Browser and sending your inquiry.

Your hubCheck issues may be due to the location where you are hosting your files. You will need to place the files in a web-accessible location that allows for byte-range requests. You can find hosting solutions from the following help page:

https://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTrackHubHelp.html#Hosting

I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions, please reply to genome...@soe.ucsc.edu.
All messages sent to that address are archived on a publicly accessible Google Groups forum.
If your question includes sensitive data, you may send it instead to genom...@soe.ucsc.edu.
