Applications are now open for the SocRSE Mentoring Scheme! Deadline is

the 3rd of February. Please forward around your groups 🙏

This free program* is a great way for members to connect with each

other in the RSE community. Whether you’re looking to share your

experience as a mentor or gain guidance as a mentee, the scheme

focuses on supporting personal growth and career development in our

community.

* Our only requirement is that you have to be a paid member of the Society for RSE

For Mentors:

Becoming a mentor is a great way to share what you’ve learned and develop skills. You’ll be guiding early-career RSEs as they navigate challenges, think about their career goals, and gain confidence—all while honing your own leadership skills.

For Mentees:

If you’re looking for support, a fresh perspective, or even just someone to talk to about your career, this is the perfect opportunity. Mentees play an active role in the process, so it’s a chance to reflect on where you’re going and how to get there, with help from someone who’s been in your shoes.
