[SOAFEE] Hypervisor WG portal

Hi,

I have finalised the group’s migration to GitLab and here is a brief description of the organisation:

There is a « Hypervisor WG » GitLab Group that contains the following projects:

- Steering Committee

- Hypervisor Portability

- Autonomous Virtual Platform Specification

- AGL on MacOS

The  meeting notes, recordings and presentations are in the Steering Committee project’s repo.

This issues associated to this project are covering the main tasks, resourced or not, associated with the group.

It has a Wiki that is the entry point for new members.

It also contains material for SOAFEE Architecture v2.0 and proposes/raise the following elements/questions:

• What is cloud native?
• UN R155 & UN R156 support by SOAFEE
• Privileged components (in particular non-repudiable auditing)
• Inter vs Intra node orchestration
• Multi-tenancy
• Containers vs Hypervisor clarification

The Portability project is addressing hypervisor portability, device assignment (see steering committee level issue).

It’s repo contain files that are reference to the topic and working documents

The AVPS project is aiming at taking over from GENIVI/COVESA on the specification (see steering committee level issue).

The original pdf document has been translated in reST format in the project’s repo and is accessible on ReadTheDocs in HTML or PDF.

The AGL on MacOS project is a project I contributed to show case the benefit of Cloud Native approach.

It runs an AGL image downloaded from the web on MacOS *WITHOUT* Qemu, just leveraging MacOS hypervisor framework.

Other candidate activities described in Streering Committee issues (TSN and Trustworthiness) were not « voted on » by members.
