Hi All,
Unfortunately we were not able to bring the below topic into last week’s TSC due to Project Moonshot conversations hence wanted to continue via email !
There have been some great conversations on this topics which we think need to be brought into a dedicated tiger team for discussion and disposition as soon as we can to avoid further fragmentation
Below is my suggestion for initial set of companies that I think have stakes in this conversation and should be part of this tiger team .Can I request folks that I have named below to please volunteer someone from their company ( which could also include themselves 😊 ) so that we can get this going. Note that the recommendations of this tiger team will form part of Moonshot as the ref implementation which will be seeded across the ecosystem.
@Mitra, Neel : Hi Neel – As this tiger team will be parented to cloud-native dev wg, would be great if you could please take the lead and connect with the folks below relying on @Estela Rey Ramos for any operations / community support to bootstrap this tiger team . Once the TT is in place, you can help assign a chair who can lead the team and report back into to the Cloud-Native Dev WG.
Proposed Tiger Team :
Regards,
Girish

Subject: SOAFEE TSC : Mixed Critical Workload Orchestration Tiger Team Proposal
Hi All,
Hope you all are doing well. I wanted to trigger this email before the SOAFEE TSC this Thursday on a proposal we want to bring into the TSC to start a tiger team under the direction of Cloud Native Dev Workgroup around the topic of mixed critical workload orchestration ( aka MCO )
As I am sure all of you would agree, MCO is one of the most important system level topic that SOAFEE is looking at addressing and one of the earliest that we started looking into. During our conversation with various SOAFEE SIG members, it has become evident that there are multiple threads in execution to address this problem . We think it will be a worthwhile effort to trigger a discussion to see if it makes sense to converge these threads knowing that each of these are looking at addressing same problem while creating an open and scalable solution as latter is the only way to enable an ecosystem around it.
With this context, below is the first draft of proposal:
Tiger Team : Mixed Critical Workload Orchestration Task Force
Parent WG : Cloud Native Dev Workgroup
Objective : To enable an open standards based mixed critical workload orchestration solution
Initial Proposed WG members @ Tiger Team: Arm, AWS, LGE, CARIAD , EPAM, SUSE, Red Hat, TTTech, RTI , Continental , Bosch, ETAS, EB, NXP
PS: This is our proposal inviting partners that we know are working on certain aspects of MCO while other partners in the SIG can join based on their interest .
We will discuss further around this in the TSC.

Thanks @Girish for looping me in. Appreciate the opportunity.
Hi All,
Happy Monday. Very excited that we are launching a focused team on Mixed Critical Workloads. This is a hot topic in the industry today, and feels like a huge opportunity for this community to dive deep, consolidate efforts and standardize. So as a next step, @estela & I will setup a kick off meeting for this group (in a week or so) and select a chair (s). The updated list for the tiger team is as below, but please feel free to reach out, if anyone else is interested to join.
Proposed Tiger Team :
Please reply back to @Mitra, Neel and @estela.reyramos if any questions / comments / suggestions.
Thanks.
Regards.

Appreciate the note @ff . At this stage, we are keeping the topic broader to discuss around the workloads and its orchestration. We will rely on the tiger team to share their thoughts / opinions if it makes sense to segregate those in the future.
Apologies for dropping the “orchestration” in my note, will correct it for the kick off invite and add you as well. Hope that helps.
