[layer5-maintainers] Hacktoberfest 2023 Planning

Hi All,

Oktoberfest is coming up. Layer5 and all of its stewardess projects have participated in this event for the last four years or so. Let's get some planning going and prepare for some new contributors. Would one of you like to volunteer to spearhead the organization of our participation in this event? And doing, so will you take a first step of opening up an issue on the layer5io/layer5 repo in which you:

1. basically regurgitate this email
2. call for planning
3. call for brainstorming of projects for participants to work on (a series of related issues on the same topic/project)
4. call for ideas of various issues to be created for participants to work (one-time issues)
5. call for mentoring volunteers
6. call for participation in hosting an event
