independent incident with cybertracker

I would like to know if it is possible to use cybertracker or smart mobile to collect independent incident and include in SMART.

Hi Jorge, 

Yes, this is doable on SMART Mobile (not CyberTracker Classic). You just need to first install the CyberTracker Independent Incident Support Plug-in (see below screenshot). 

Once you've done this, when you export your configurable model to your device, you will be given the option to collect independent incidents which will appear on the app's main screen. 

You then import this data as you would a patrol.

Remember – SMART Mobile is in beta stage – we will be making changes and it should not be used for production at this stage.  SMART Mobile should only be used for testing, training and reviewing as part of providing feedback to the community.

Dear Alex,

I have installed the plug-in (all works fine in SMART desktop) and re-exported the SMART Mobile Patrol Package, in the hope that this would enable me to add Independent Incidents on my android. However, the screen remains indicating that I can't (see screenshot). I have re-installed SMART mobile with the apk file SMK-build-276-arm32, and also this didn't solve anything. What am I missing?

There is no information about beta testing of SMART mobile.

But yes, there is so many problem with SMART mobile especially error parsing of json file.

Hi Ruben, 

Apologies for the delay in responding. The version of SMART Mobile available on the SMART website is v320 which supports independent incidents. When exporting the package you need to select the checkbox for "independent incidents package" and select the configurable model of interest. Is this option visible to you when exporting your package? If not, double check the plugins please.

The above message from Jonathan is from 2019. The v320 currently available on the website is a production version.

This will be updated in the new release in the near future.

Dear Alex,

Thank you for the assistance. I have reinstalled the most recent version of Mobile and I do have the plugin installed in desktop. Yet, I don't see any checkbox when exporting my patrol package to Mobile. I am not sure what I am missing. The 'Report incident' button on Mobile remains light grey and 'unclickable'. Let me know if you can think of any potential reason..
