Hello folks,

When I click on an alert icon on the Alert Map of SMART Connect, it shows some summary data such as event type, date/time (currently wrong TZ for me but that's another matter), location, importance, and a field called "description". The description field is blank and I would like to use it to convey some more information about the alert - e.g. using some of the details recorded on the app that are associated with the observation that triggered the alert. Is there a way to do this?

Many thanks

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
You can update the description field when manually creating a new alert or editing an existing alert in SMART Connect. There currently isn't any configuration available that would allow you to specify fields to be added to the description for alerts that are automatically generated.

Matt
