Hello folks,
I'm using SMART Mobile build 385 and having an issue with the option for Manual GPS location entry.
In my Configurable model>Device settings>GPS I've got the "Manual GPS on Skip via input" option ticked and format is decimal degrees. However if I try and use that option in SMART Mobile the input doesn't accept a decimal point properly. It does an odd thing where it moves the point to the end of the number so if I enter "1.554" it gets changed straight away to "1554."
A workaround I've found is to first enter 1554 and then move the cursor to insert the point where it is needed. But it's not ideal.
I'm using a Samsing S9+ on Android 10. The "Manual GPS input" calls up the phone's number pad rather than the full keyboard. On the number pad the decimal point is on the same "button" as the hyphen. One touch = ".", two touches = "-". Could this be a source of confusion perhaps? I've not found an option that forces the phone to show the full keyboard whenever numerical input is required, just in case that would help.
Or am I doing something else wrong!
Jeremy
