I wonder if anyone can assist, I am experiencing issues as regards syncing of a conservation area.
I work primarily on a Mac which has for a long time been the primary desktop on which the CA is managed – however in order to upload Smart Mobile onto devices, I run a Windows version (32bit) on a virtual machine through parallels which has been working very well for the last few years, however, in the last month or two I have started having syncing errors in Windows.
If I working in Mac and I sync, everything seems to work okay and SMART shows me that it is all synced.
(MAC)
When I then go into windows and sync, I get a dialogue box stating that the sync is completed and that and sync package has been downloaded, however, once complete, SMART indicates that it is not all successfully synced.
(WINDOWS)
When I hover over the icon showing an error, it tells me “ Error detecting state of local database”
Thinking that an error may have found its way into the Windows database, I exported my CA in Mac version and then deleted the entire Windows version of the programme, re-installed the entire programme and imported the CA from the Mac export. This however did still not fix the problem and the newly installed programme and CA is still showing the same syncing error.
I am presuming the error must then be on the Mac side, and is something that allows it to sync itself in Mac but not between it and other computers. As I now have other colleagues who are also working on SMART on their computers, I am concerned that any work they are doing is not being properly synced and update to the primary source on my computer
Please let me know what the potential problem can be, where I may find the error and what can be done to correct it
Many thanks
Debby

Just to confirm I have been running both for about 2 years with no issues or problems at all, this issue only seems to have developed in the last month or two.
