to Announce
Friday is going to be a triple event day for Skullspace.

A super First Friday.

I'm here announce the 6:15pm-7pm event, a launch and press conference
for our Hax festival
https://hax.skullspace.ca/hax4/2023-03-03.html

I invited local print media weeks ago, but you're all invited as well.

I'll be unveiling the speakers for the April 1st talks at our forth
weekend Hax Festival (March 31-April 2nd) and also giving a festival
overview.

Six cool presenters are lined up, some who have presented in our
classroom before, others who are new voices which makes for great
community building.

Following the line-up run-down, Edwin Amsler will deliver his
presentation, "How games were made in 1993". which we'll be recording
for inclusion in the April 1st program.

After the presentation, tours and 1 on 1 interviews will be offered to
any press in attendance.

At this point, I'm satisfied that the six presenters lined up will
make for a suitable daytime program for April 1st.

But, there is still room in the coming weeks to accommodate more speakers

Two things are still lacking on our presentation list:
* Populations underrepresented in hackerspaces
* Cybersecurity / information security talks

I'm happy to have any and all submissions come to me after today's
deadline. Late submissions that we accept may just miss out on the
initial marketing push next week, but will appear on the Hax festival
schedule.

If you can, continue to help spread the word about our call for presentations:

Happy Hacking

p.s.

As a reminder, following the Hax launch, we have two further events:

At 7pm our hackerspace will be transformed into our 3rd Hustlers
Huddle event, where a large gathering of local entrepreneurs will
network and make pitches. This is a free event, but we ask you to RSVP
on the eventbrite page
https://is.gd/sDLN2w

At 10pm we have a dance party with DJs + anti-social chill out which
will include retro video games.
Tickets are $15 + taxes and fees.
