This is the final call for talks, exhibits, workshops, and gaming for
this year's Hax Festival. Experience the hackerspace across an entire
weekend, June 4-7, 2026.

This year we've decided to align with the MEME festival schedule. A
free Thursday night reception/mixer at 8pm is happening where DJs from
Toronto will cross over with our Winnipeg scene.
Thor has a special Friday night movie night lined-up. A 3am MEME after
party is also tentatively in the works TBA.
Talks of interest to a broad hackerspace community will held on the
morning and afternoon of Saturday June 6.
So far we have four talks lined up and room for three more. An
honouria will be offered for this. Please refer us to new voices if
you don't have something to present.
What have you built, broken or about learned recently? We'd like to
hear about it.
Presentations do not need to be about information technology (which is
always welcome). We've hosted speakers telling us about their garden
hacks, their life hacks, and how to save wildlife.

Exhibits and small hands on workshops are another way to share your
experiences with our community. These take place in the cozy back of
our space and can be scheduled for the busy Saturday and/or the extra
chill festival Sunday (June 7).
Gaming, especially, table-top gaming is also a favourite way to
connect. If you'd like to host a session, let us know.
All of these chill things can happen spontaneously, but if you let us
know in advance we can include it in our advertising and schedule.
See you in June!
