Calling everyone out there that likes to hack, make, build, create,
compose, disassemble, remix and re-assemble. Skullspace is a
hackerspace in downtown Winnipeg. On Saturday May 3, 2025 our 6th
annual festival Hax will feature talks of interest to a broad
hackerspace community in the daytime in our newly upgraded classroom.

Tell us about your hacks!

https://hax.skullspace.ca

Remote, pre-recorded, and anonymous talks can be accommodated.

Honouria are on offer to encourage new voices and new ideas. You can
see a list of prior topics
(https://hax.skullspace.ca/talkshistory.html), but please feel free to
think outside the box.

If you don't have a presentation in mind, help refer us to someone
new. If you can, prioritize referrals to people underrepresented in
hackerspaces. Take that as guidance and not an imperative, everyone is
welcome. Our event stage is not competitive or prestigious.

Contact the organizing chair Mark Jenkins ma...@parit.ca or other
organizing channels and persons.

There's no deadline, we will be filling the schedule and accepting
further talk ideas as they come in the weeks ahead, so reach out ASAP.

Is standing in front of a classroom crowd intimidating? We also need
small hands-on workshops and exhibits to fill time and space in our
chill workshop and lounge areas for both Saturday May 3rd and Sunday
May 4th. Honouria may also be available for this. Reach out!

Our initial list of talks:
* An old lady's guide to PC gaming on a budget -- Siusan Hample
* Introduction to amateur radio -- Alex Weber VA4ALW
* Bitcoin hardware wallet tricks for the no-coiner (this is my talk, I
may bump it to fit someone else in)

If I missed anyone who already reached out to me, ping me again.

Happy Hacking,

Mark Jenkins
