Introductions! 20 people in attendance

• New things!
  • Fixed the new storage room so it's the proper height. More work to go
    • Can we put big expensive things in there yet? No, need shelving
  • Pegboard is finally installed by the 3D printers
  • DJ Booth is More Stable!

  • Gygar: Electronics Project idea! Do a robotics project? 
    • Do We Still do ComicCon or Ai-Kon?
    • Think of Framework, long running
    • Something tall enough to be eye-level and blinkin' lights
    • We've done Harvest Moon, could bring it to that
    • Ask it on the Discord? He decided to do it in person since the people who would be at the space to help would be present
  • Edwin: Winnitron
    • Edwin wants to swap the computer inside to one of the small form factor PCs since they have Win10 licenses
    • What are those machines designated for? Some are spoken for with space stuff

    • It's a lot of cat heading (agreements on what kind of org we want)
    • The group has lawyer, broker, realtors, etc. Just needs a herder of cats

  • First Fridays - March 6th was had
    • Vinyl record night! Samples from records played on our XZ
    • Booth rebuild went well!
    • We made $948 in profit. ~$1700 gross before deduction
    • Attendance ~100 to 110? About average

  • No First Friday for April!
  • May First Fridays - Gabber.gay (Queer night)
    • There's a Discord channel and there's a spreadsheet. Reach out there if you're game to volunteer. Many hands make light work!
    • There's a Google Sheet for people to submit their interest in DJing at the event
  • Hax is happening! Planning meeting needs to be scheduled.
    • Call for talks! Things like gaming on a budget, reach out to mark J
    • It's a technology community talk. How do you use tech in your life, worth asking if the talk is worth presenting!
    • Want do try and do an unofficial afterparty with MEME (Manitoba Electronic Music Event)
  • Junction X Crew came and pitched their after party
    • SoftIceCream presented
      • He produces music and lives in both Winnipeg and Berlin
    • Fahd is helping promote and get things managed locally
    • Their May 9th event sold out in under 48 hours. The Cannabis Company is part of the event and there's a product launch party, so huge crowd is expected to come
    • The afterparty is set but they need a venue Parlour and SkullSpace are options.
    • Looked at the lowest case of selling could clear $1,000 and split profit. They would manage things and split profit
    • New artist Fab Massimo is coming into town from Germany, with DrumCode and #1 on charts for the last month. They want to pay them $500/hr but SkullSpace limits that to $100/h normally
    • Contribution to the space would be notoriety. They prefer SkullSpace to bring a world-class person, we provide a unique space in both safety and comfort compared to other locations
